Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent at CNN, she's responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the growth and advent in space travel. Being the child and the mother of two NASA astronauts Kristin was raised in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Trump and Biden Space policies of the administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. While covering the impeachment trials of two presidents, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and the two administrations' attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus The reporter also covered a range of other topics. The extensive trips she took with the Vice President and the President included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentary films for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor in Science in Journalism, which she earned at Boston University. Kristin lives with husband, daughter, and their three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
